Tras ganar su primer Globo de Oro, la cantante italiana Laura Pausini ahora va por el Oscar en la categoría mejor canción original como coautora de “Io Sì”, tema central de la película “La vita davanti a sé” (“La vida ante sí”, o en inglés “The Life Ahead”) protagonizada por Sophia Loren.
«Saber que estoy nominada al Oscar supera toda meta o expectativa que hubiese soñado en mi vida. Es algo que mi ser aún no comprende y solo puedo agradecer a La Academia por considerar “Io Sì” y su mensaje», dijo emocionada Pausini al conocer la noticia.
Laura, que además interpreta el tema, comparte la nominación con la veterana compositora estadounidense Diane Warren, quien ha sido postulada al Premio de la Academia en 12 ocasiones, incluyendo esta.
La ceremonia de los Premios de la Academia, en su 93ra edición, será el 25 de abril en Los Ángeles.
